Martin Zellar will be returning to Mankato for a performance on February 17 on the Verizon Center’s SoundStage with special guest Charlie Parr. This intimate performance is celebrate the release if Zellar’s much anticipated new album Rooster’s Crow.

Martin Zellar has been working on Roosters Crow, for quite some time now, and was recently released on February 7. The album features Zellar’s good friends, The Hardways, as well as a slew of talented guest musicians including Kelly Willis, Billy Bright, Terri Hendrix, and Kevin McKinney.

When Zellar commented on the album, particularly his next single, he said the following: “Running on Pure Fear’ isn’t a song that most people would consider a single. The songs that have been chosen as singles in the past have never been my personal favorites. This song is one of my favorites because it is personal.”
