Rental Terms
1. All rates are a daily fee.
2. Any expense for audio/visual equipment or operations will be charged to Lessee.
3. Meeting rooms are to be used for purposes related directly to conventions or meetings as contracted and shall not be assigned or sublet to others.
4. The following equipment is included in the rental: one microphone per room (not for performance, if used for performance, an operator must be added); screen, stage and stage drape; normal house lighting (no production lighting without an operator). The Banquet Hall includes track spotlights.
Services and Facilities included in Basic Rental
1. House lighting, ventilation, heat or air conditioning is provided from client ingress through egress. Air conditioning will be provided at an additional cost during load in and load out. Contact Center Management for the additional costs.
2. The client-approved seating and stage arrangemetn for the event will be set on a one-time basis. Costs for any changes may be charged to the Lessee.
3. Normal janitorial services necessary to maintain clean restrooms, lobbies and corridors during the hours of event.
Exhibit Electrical and Utility Services
The Center serves as its own Electrical and Utility Services Contractor. Electrical and utility rates are out lined on separate service rate schedules.
Food Services, Catering, Concessions
All food, beverage and concession services are operated and controlled exclusively by the Center. Food and beverage sampling in conjunction with a specific exhibit must be approved by the Center Executive Director. No food will be permitted to be brought into the banquet/meeting rooms by the patron or any of the patrons' guests. Food may not be taken off the premises after it has been prepared, due to current health regulations.
Audio/Visual
The Center may act as an Audio/Visual Contractor. Audio/Visual equipment and operator rates are outlined on a separate service rate sheet.
Additional Services and Equipment
The Center maintains and can provide various equipment such as staging, spotlights, forklifts, sound systems, etc., at rental rates outlined on a separate equipment schedule. Various services, such as production crews and equipment operators, are outlined on separate service rate schedules.
Civic/Charitable Rental
Civic/Charitable rental rates are made available for those Mankato meetings and funcitons that are sponsored by local organizations that are not in a financial position to pay the prevailing rates and yet provide a service that is generally considered in the community's best interest. A Community Giving application may be obtained from a memeber of the Center to start the necessary process.
